Lotar usually appears as a young man, an entertainer of some sort. In his presence, laughter is easy and cares are forgotten. He rarely carries a weapon, preferring his wits instead. Lotar can also be a dark figure, half-glimpsed in the shadows; it is not a favorable omen to see him in this guise.
