Shotan almost never is seen; rather he is sensed. When he choses to take a form, it is usually that of a giant man with the head of a wolf and the wings of a bat.
His eyes are a gateway to the void. He is always swathed in black cloth, which flutters in a wind no earthly being can feel. He is surrounded by shadows at all times, and he bears a black iron mace set with ebony runes.
