Mitras rarely takes flesh, prefering to manifest himself as a shimmer of lights or a brilliant burst of light. On those occasions when he has assumed a physical form, he appears as a pure white, winged figure, whose ethereal countenance is unbearably beatiful. Mitras bears the spear called Lightbringer when he enters battle. In his presence all illusion fails.
